Lifetime Powertrain Eligibility Guidelines
Coverage is limited to the Vehicle parts and other items described below:
Gasoline/Diesel Engine:
- All internal lubricated parts
- Engine block
- Cylinder heads
- Harmonic balancer
- Manifold(s) exhaust/intake (excluding catalytic converters)
- Oil pan (excluding drain plug related failures)
- Electric oil pump
- Fuel pump
- Timing belt/chain, gear, cover and tensioner
- Water pump
- Electric coolant pump
- Diesel accessory vacuum pump, lift pump, injectors and injector pump
- Pulleys: timing belt and crankshaft
- Manufacturer-installed turbocharger(s), bypass valve(s), blow-off valve(s), intercooler and waste gate(s)
- Manufacturer-installed supercharger
- Valve covers
Transmission (Automatic, Continuous Variable (CVT), Standard and Transfer Case):
- All internal lubricated parts
- Transmission and transfer case housing
- Transmission cooler
- Metal cooler lines
- Oil pan (excluding drain plug related failures)
- Torque converter
- Mounts
- Flywheel/flexplate
- Oil pump
- Throttle valve cable
- Vacuum modulator
- External and internal control unit
- Automatic electronic clutches
Drive Axle (Front/Rear/AWD/4-Wheel Drive):
- All internal lubricated parts within the drive/transaxle assembly and housing, including axles and axle bearings
- Hubs, bearings and front hub locking assemblies
- Constant velocity joints
- Universal joints
- Drive shaft
- Differential cover
- Four-wheel drive actuator
Hybrid Vehicle:
- Hybrid vehicle electric motor assembly
- Electronic transmission/transaxle assembly
- Electric traction-drive motor assembly
Filters, Fluids, Lubricants and Taxes:
Filters, fluids, lubricants, and taxes are required to complete a Covered Repair for any Covered Part listed above.
Seals and Gaskets:
Seals and gaskets are for all covered parts listed above when subject to a covered repair.
Your Responsibilities:
You have the responsibility to properly maintain the Vehicle as recommended by the manufacturer, to reasonably protect the Vehicle from further damage when one or more parts fail, to maintain records of routine Vehicle maintenance performed by you or others, to follow the procedures for reporting a claim for benefits as described in this Warranty, and to cooperate fully with our reasonable requests to examine Vehicle maintenance records, inspect the Vehicle, or establish ownership of the Vehicle in the event you report a claim for benefits. Maintenance records generally include a detailed log of maintenance you perform and receipts for purchases of services provided by others and parts and supplies used by you or others in performing maintenance services. You must obtain preauthorization for any Repairs made to the Vehicle by a repair facility other than ours.
Limited Warranty - General Limitation of Warranties:
The total dollar benefits paid under this warranty are limited to the vehicle purchase price. The total dollar benefit paid for any given covered repair is limited to the average trade-in value of the vehicle (excluding tax, title, and license fees) immediately prior to the mechanical breakdown based on the then most recent National Automobile Dealer Association used car guide (or a comparable guide, if that guide has been discontinued).
Pre-Owned Vehicles:
Must pass the UCI. Vehicles with LESS than 80,000 odometer miles at the time of sale. Current Model Year + 6 model years back (2018 & Newer) …January 1 starts new model year.
Excluded Vehicles:
Commercial use vehicles do not qualify (Police, Emergency, Hauling, Construction, Deliveries, Rentals, and Driving Schools).
Vehicles with a voided or rescinded factory warranty.
ALL: Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Mini, and Exotic vehicles.
Any of the following vehicles: Acura NSX, Alfa Romeo, Any vehicle with a G.V.W. over 12,000 lbs., ARO, Aston Martin, Audi, All Fuel Cell Vehicles, All Electric Vehicles, Bentley, Bertone, BMW, Camaro ZL1, Z28, Cadillac ELR - Electric, Centurion Trucks, Chevrolet Callaway Camaro and Corvette, Corvette ZR1, Corvette ZO6, Crosslander, Police vehicles, limousines, Dodge Challenger SRT, Jeep SRT, Demon, Hellcat, Hand-made vehicles, Incomplete vehicles Viper, Dodge ProMaster, Sprinter, Ferrari, Flatbed trucks, cab & chassis trucks, Ford GT, GT40, Roush Mustang, Raptor Trucks, Mustang Saleen, Mustangs GT500, GT350R, Fuqui, Hummer, Jaguar, Jensen, Lada, Laforza, Lamborghini, Lancia, Land Rover, Lexus LF (All models), Lotus, Maserati, Maybach, Mercedes, Mini Cooper, Mini Dinan, Nissan NV (all models) and GT-R, Peugeot, Pininfarina, Porsche, Vehicles with right-hand steering, Prowler, RAM ProMaster, Rolls Royce, Roush, Saab, Sprinter (Mercedes), Tesla, TVR, Vehicle rating over 1 ton Box beds, Dodge Viper, Volkswagen V12/W12, Volvo, Diesels Trucks.
