Why We're Riding

What Is Ride for Dad?

Ride for Dad is one of Canada's largest fundraising motorcycle rides, dedicated to raising awareness and funding for prostate cancer research — the most common cancer in Canadian men.

The Swift Current chapter brings together riders, families, and supporters from across Southwest Saskatchewan every year to honour those affected and push for better outcomes through research.

This June, Cypress Motors is proud to put the power of our community behind this cause. A test drive is a small thing. The difference it makes is not.

Canada-Wide Impact

Ride for Dad has raised millions of dollars for prostate cancer research across Canada since 2000, funding critical studies that improve treatment and survival rates.

Local Roots

The Swift Current chapter brings together riders from across Southwest Saskatchewan. This is our community coming together for our dads, brothers, and neighbours.

Drive for Your Community is a free event where every completed on-site Ford test drive results in a $30 donation from Ford Canada to Ride for Dad Swift Current. No purchase is necessary — your test drive is the contribution.

Do I need to buy a vehicle to participate?

Not at all. There is zero obligation to purchase. Simply show up, take a drive, and Ford makes the donation on your behalf.

Who receives the donation?

Every completed test drive sends a $30 donation from Ford Canada directly to Ride for Dad Swift Current — a fundraising motorcycle ride supporting prostate cancer research across Canada.

Do I need to register or book an appointment?

No appointment needed. This is a drop-in event — just show up anytime between 10 AM and 4 PM on June 10th and our team will take care of the rest. You can also let us know you're coming on our Facebook page.
